Employment and Volunteering
People who come to work at Marymound want to make a difference in the lives of young people. They recognize the challenges our youth face – trauma, addiction, mental illness, abuse, family breakdown and more – and want to do something about it.
It takes special people to do this kind of work – and we’re proud of the staff who work here and their commitment to Finding the Good.
Whether you work directly with our young people every day, prepare meals, raise funds, keep our facilities safe and clean or do payroll, your work is valued and your contribution appreciated at Marymound. We work as a team, understanding that each player on that team plays an integral part in the success of our organization, and ultimately, the success we wish for our youth.
You want to work for an organization that prides itself on service excellence. You bring skills and experience that will enhance the existing team of service professionals that make Marymound a leader in the field of child welfare services and in today’s job market. You are committed to Finding the Good in the young people of today.
If you have had experience caring for children, particularly those with high needs, and you have a desire to be part of a treatment team, consider fostering in our Treatment Foster Care Program. We need foster parents for our programs in Winnipeg and Thompson.
As a non-profit agency, Marymound depends on volunteers to enhance its services. There are many options for volunteers – with our young people, in our offices or school, and at our special events.
