Many of the services we provide rely on funds from foundations, corporate sponsors and individual donors like you. Some programs and initiatives wouldn’t happen without this support.
Why give?
For many of the kids we see at Marymound, abuse and neglect are sad realities. Getting away from this isn’t easy. We have had children come to Marymound who have lived in more than 30 different foster and group homes in their short lives. The harmful impact this has on Manitoban young people is immense – and with your help, we can make positive changes in the lives of Marymound youth.
Marymound has helped and cared for these forgotten young people since 1911.
Our Goal
At Marymound we strive to achieve two basic but important goals:
- To make young people feel safe, wanted and part of a family
- To help these same young people look to the future and help break free of the cycle of poverty and abuse.
