Marymound was fortunate to be chosen as a Charity of Choice for the inaugural NHL Players Association (NHPLA) Charity Fashion Show on December 8, 2015 at the RBC Convention Centre.

Winnipeg Jets/Manitoba Moose player Jay Harrison selected Marymound, and was instrumental in getting five other Jets players involved in the event that offers them a chance to give back to the community by choosing their preferred charity.  They also get a chance to “strut their stuff” on the fashion runway. The five chosen charities will each get a two-minute time slot between fashion segments to showcase their organization through a video. Marymound will be utilizing an upcoming new video for its capital campaign that will be a great prelude to the campaign kick-off at the Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce Luncheon on December 15.

Here’s your chance to see your Winnipeg Jets in the “Fashion Arena,” and support Marymound because if the event sells out, Marymound could receive between $5,000 to $10,000 to help its kids!  Get your tickets soon as limited seating is available with 1,500 -2,000 people expected. Tickets now available at Ticketmaster.

This is a ‘win-win’ for Marymound with a great opportunity to raise its profile and awareness in the community while gaining some much needed additional funding!
